Choo Choo Train Tracks

17th July @ KTM Railtracks

We decided to jump onto the bandwagon and visit the so-called historical site before it is gone.

And since the train track is isolated amongst the trees, the fresh air is one of the reasons why we were there too.

We were  initially quite irritated with an old man who helped us took this pic. Our focus was obviously the rundown  "BUKIT TIMAH" signage behind us. Only after that do we realised these two gentlemen above are the current presidential hopefuls - Dr Tan Cheng Bock and Tan Jee Say.

Opps. Talk about being ignorant.

When the walking becomes boring, we entertained/challenged ourselves by performing.....

PLANKING!

Hehehe.

We did quite a bit of hiking up slopes too...only to find slumps.

I presume these are the where the station masters stayed all these year. Pretty cool, if not for the rundown state.

I so can forsee developers snatching up these lands and build high rise condos, giving them fanciful names like "The Rails @ bukit timah", seeing how prime the location is.

Soo..can we now declare that we are a part of history too? :p

Definitely one of the more productive Sundays.

On a different note, my iPhone 3GS camera has surprisingly produced pretty decent pictures as above. I'm impressed with it sometimes, and mostly in the day. But still, i will change it to its brother number 5 in time to come
