Its about giving

Ever since i signed up for World vision's 30 hours famine programme in 2005, i receive newsletters, donation appeals from them every year.

All in all, i donated for 5 consecutive year already.

This year, i increased my donation amount, and signed up for child sponsorhip, at only $45 per month.

World vision is a christian humanitarian organisation, aiming to help poverty-strickened children and families. The non-profit organisation reach out to these people regardless of a person's religon, race, ethnicity or gender. Which is why, i had no qualms about donating to them every year.

The donation, in terms of gift, are really interesting. It comes in the form of "one food pack for a month", "a goat", "shelter a street child for a year" or even "warm blankets"

For me, i chose "immunisation for 2 kids" in Zambia and "8kg of rice seeds + 5 litres of fresh milk" in Vietnam.

wr had initailly wanted to give a cow, but he decided to donate monthly to the singapore heart foundation instead. He believes that should he require a heart transplant in the future, he will be given the priority since he's a donor
LOL!

So, in you hadnt do charity in donkey years, this christmas will be a good time to give. If you need more info, here's the website :)

I feel kinda excited sponsoring my first child! Been wanting to do that since i was in JC 1, but i was just a broke student then.
