Candy's 大囍事

I've always think that loving someone is one thing, and getting married to him or her is another thing altogether. It requires great deal of courage belief to say "yes" to spending the rest of your life together with that someone. Because sometimes love just aint enough for you to do that.

So anyway candy's
officially married. One year ago she was legally married, so its different according to our chinese custom haha. I stayed over at her house on monday cuz i was her jiemei. We woke up at 5am to get ready for combing hair, makeup etc. damn tiring lah.

The highlight of the day had to be when the groom fetches the bride, where he is subjected to all sorts of torture and embarrassment. I think this is such a brilliant tradition. Some brides will feel for their husband-to-be and request the jiemeis not to be overboard. HAHA not for me! I will want my jiemei to be extremely menacing when it comes to this muahha. Would be even better if i'm allowed to join in as well. Perhaps i should start thinking of 101 ways to torture your fiance on the big day now. =D

The jiemeis prepared chilli padi, a bowl of nonsense and wasabi bread for the groom and his brothers. One of them actually bought this canned SILK WORM from a korean supermarket but my aunt thought it was too much so we didnt use in the end. Seriously, how did worms ended up as a delicacy in korea!?!??! I always thought the thais are the craziest to be eating grasshoppers.

Their march in song was "i finally found someone" during the banquet, followed by alot of other nice lovesongs for their photo montage. Roy even sang a canto song during the dinner for Candy, soo swweet! The MCs teased the newly wed on stage. Candy's suppose to guide a pingpong ball out of Roy's pants by using only her mouth, so you can imagine how obscene it looks. I was stealing glances at my grandparents, see if there's any sign of disapproval, but they were pretty expressionless hahah.

I like playing around with my hair, it makes me look different. Guys are so boring. The only thing they can change about themselves are clothes. And it still makes them look the same. (check out wr, he looks the same 24/7)
