one fine day last week, wr msg to tell me that the new extended wing of Jurong Point has opened!! I was quite excited about the opening so off we went on last friday. It looks quite small on the exterior but its actually very big!! The new wing's location is actually the old boonlay interchange, so its huge.





We went in to explore, along with the curious crowd. To our delight, there are quite a lot of new eateries! Yay i rejoiced at the sight of Burger King! They have Thai express, NewyorkNewyork, Dian xiao er, Ding Tai feng etc etc. I love Thai Express! Not so expensive and nice reasonable thai food! Dian Xiao Er is nice too but quite expensive.






There's this section called the market place, which is made up of little shops selling food, clothes, accessories, yada yada. One of the shop is the westlake stewpork! My favourite! In hokkien its called kong ba bao.
There's this new eatery called Jia xiang cai. Heard from bro that the food is nice! We are so going there soon muhaha.


One of the shops in the market place, which sells (yucky) organic products. As you can see, my parents were quite interested in the organice drinks. They spent damn long talking to the salesperson on which they should get. After wr and i finished walking the whole stretch, they finally made the decision to buy the organic vinegar drink, which, is damn horribly taste.



I was bouncing from shops to shops, still can't believe that the old sad looking JP has morphed into a brand new mall. And suddenly wr exclaimed upon seeing adidas. "YEAH got adidas!" Machiam he saw gold. -.-"


But i would exclaimed too if there's forever21 or topshop hahah. But too bad they dont have.


JP also has my favourite skincare shop like FaceShop and SkinFood! Now i don't have to travel all the way to town to get my eye masks and nail polishs.



We didnt managed to finish combing the mall, because my mum wanted to catch the 10pm hongkong show. Booo.


Wr and i are still very excited nonetheless. For the past year, our favourite hangout is JP. Either eating, walking around aimlessly or watch movie. Occasionally we would venture to farther places like IMM and Ikea. Now, we can go back to JP again! I think Sy and Reubs will be quite happy too, hahah.



I think my residential area is becoming more happening. There's a sports complex, with huge swimming pool just 3 minutes walk from my house, JP which is 3 bus stop away, and the new pioneer MRT station which is 5 minutes walk away. Heard that it will be open in Feb 2009, which is very soon! Muhaha. If only there arent so many foreign workers around, my place would be perfeccct. Because their hostel is in the vicinity, they sometimes drink and get themselves drunk. So its quite scary to have them around.

And not forgetting NTU too. I like to go there for a run and mug during my exam period. Happy!
