my birthday week was so fun and relaxing. Since my birthday was on tuesday, i only intended to take leave on wed (so then i can stay up later heh) but my boss has very kindly offered me 3 days of leave! I've just finished the projects on hand so its my off peak period now. So woooweee i had uber duper long weekend!!

Wr brought me to cafe biz at trader's hotel for dinner. Needless to say its a buffet dinner heh. Some of the stuff are simply fantabulous...like the oysters(i had 8 of them), prawns, scallops, XL sausage, roast duck, chicken noodle, kailan and potato. Others like salmon sashimi and pizza are so so only. It was very satisfying nonetheless! One thing unique abt the restaurant is that they have special, additional stuff that are not found on the tables. They are instead being brought out by a chef and serve you on the spot. Like lamp chop, honey chicken wings, sausages and grilled salmon. These are all heavenly, though we only had the stomach to try the chicken wings and sausages.

So after eating, we lug my work laptop, the huge bouquet of flowers, the 500 pieces stitch jigsaw puzzle he pieced for me, and the little stitch figurine puzzle all the way from traders hotel to cineleisure. My feet hurts and his toes got blisters after the walk haha. We were damn full so we decided to just take a stroll and impromptully we decided to hit the KBOX and sing to our lung's content!

Sing all ye joyful!!

We sang and we screeched. He says i'm tone deaf but what the heck. He hogs on to the mic most of the time and sings the most ridiculous songs ever. like hokkien songs hahah. We had hell lot of fun trying to sing all possible songs we can think of...since we have 5 hours there. Luckily we had foresight and smuggled 1 litre of mineral water in! The drinks at Kbox are so overpriced. 6 buckeroos for a small cup of lemon honey.

The gifts!

We headed to sentosa the next day for a good tan, because i'm beginning to look a vampire, esp so beside wr, who are often mistaken as a malay or thai.

We didnt mention to anyone, not even to ourselves that we will be going for a tan, for superstitious reasons haha! Because every single time when i mentioned to someone that i'm going tanning, it will either be a) POURING b) drizzling c) damn cloudy
So it has been tested and proven that if we keep mum about our plans, the sky will give us its full cooperation teehee

We got free island admission and had free tickets to the 3-D extreme log ride too, courtesy of my company muahha. Can't wait for the resort world to be up! The rollercoasters are in fact more or less done already. Bet everything there is gotta be sky high expensive!

Ahhh..It such a nice feeling to be away on work, strolling along the beach, exploring sentosa on a working day! :)
