3 days after i got my pay, my bank account went back to it's sickly state of near emptiness. It is in times like this that i grumbled alot about my meagre salary, though other times i would be more or less contented.


The reasons why:

Somehow, it was a tradition to blast your wallet for a good enough treat once you've landed your 1st job, gotten your 1st pay. I spent $300+ on a superb sumptuous seafood dinner with my family + wr + stefie + grandma, at red house seafood restaurant located at east coast. Our favouritest seafood restaurant serving one of the very best chilli crabs and fish haha. Bro treated us at that restaurant last year when he grad too. yummy yummy yum yum!

After procrastinating for years, my family has finally decided to take action and bought this big ticket item yesterday! I'm so excited!! Our new Sharp Aquos 40 inch LED TV. Though bro prefers a samsung one, but the sharp one is cheaper by $700, saves damn alot of electricity and anti reflection! Now i dont have to draw the curtain when watching Tv at the side sofa on a sunny noon.

We made a right decision by going AudioHouse at Liang court for the TV, because the price there is comparably cheaper as compared to the rest. After buying, bro went to check out Best Denki and guess what? The exact same TV was up on new launch promotion at $2999 and we bought it at only $2199. Sucha stark difference in price!

For months i've been chasing Singtel for the iPhone 3Gs 32GB. It's so amazing how high the demand is for this phone. I've register online to que for this phone in Aug and gotten it only in Oct. Once, singtel send a mass email stating that there's stocks in all outlets for walk-in customers and within 1 hour all was wipe out. And it was on a weekday at 11am. Such kuku timing yet theres 500+ people storming into Singtel shop that day.


Since i wanted this to be a surprise for him, in order to purchase the phone he has to recontract. So smart me went to steal his IC, forge his signature for authorisation letter and sign the contract on his behalf muahahha.


I didnt regret getting him the phone, because it was so fun. We had helluva time playing its applications and it makes me wanna get one for myself too! But not 32GB though, its too much.
So right now i'm still thinking whether to get an iphone or Omnia II.

I got 2 boxes of 4 durian snowskin mooncakes, one for wr's family and one for my family. My workplace has 20% for goodwood park mooncakes, tunglok, swensen's. So since goodwood park is reputable for its mooncakes, i lug 4 boxes of mooncakes home last week. The durian snowskin is so heavenly! Goodwood park really uses 100% pure D24 durian for its fillings and its very rich. It smells good too! Oreo started jumping around whenever i took the mooncakes out of the fridge haha.


So yeah, all in all, i've burnt a super big hole this month. Gotta live frugally till next pay!
