Hohoho. My whole family took leave from work yesterday for going across the causeway to JB! Bro's gf, stefie and wr went together with us too. It definitely feels like an holiday. Our intention was only to go there to do our hair. Mum, stefie, bro and I are doing colouring and stuff. So while we were in there for 2-3 hours, poor dad and wr were walking around the shopping mall while waiting for us.

I did a cut + colour + highlight + treatment for only RM 220, which is about $92 SGD. Damn worth it i feel, considering my hair length isnt exactly short now. I like my new hair color! Though i think its strikingly bright now, but after a few wash the colour will be more contrasting. My base colour is light brown, and my hightlight is golden blonde. But it looks orange to me no matter how i see it. I'll just have to wait for my raw hair colour to settle down after a week. Muahhah.

The salon has pretty good services too! We were surfing the net, watching videos while the stylist do up our hair. It makes the 3 hours wait more bearable. My stylist wasnt very chatty too. I hate extremely chatty stylists, more so when they try to push you to buy their products, or ask you to bring your friends over. So irritating.
Oh and the salon is also nice enough to offer a second dye for my bro. I think his hair too dark, so his 1st hairjob didnt have any difference. So the 2nd hair job of slightly brighter color was FOC. I helped mum chose her colour, and it turned out very nice too!

Though i kinda like playing with hair colour now, i think this will be my last hairdye in few years. I still very much love my hair so i dont wish it to be damaged. Even though i can always go for treatment and stuff, but once its damage, its an irreversible effect. So i better wait for 2 or 3 years later before doing hair colour again.

So after walking around the mall which has nothing much actually, we headed off to our highly anticipated dinner at Taman sri tebrau hawker centre, where SGreans always go to for cheap and yummy seafood. I went there last year with some of the team mates, and so this year i brought my family there to try. We ordered like really truckloads of food! And all are damn nice!! Bro and stefie walked around and bought chee chong fan and claypot rice. I'm a sucker for nice chee chong fan and this one is also very nice!! Like the one i tried in Penang. I ordered Asparagus, Beggar chicken, Buttered Crayfish, Sambal stingray, Cereal Prawn and chilli lala. I have no idea whats the name for lala, just know that they taste very nice with chilli hahah. On top of that, we added a claypot of bak kut teh, which the soup is heavenly and REFILLABLE muhahah.

Luckily we reached the place early, because the food served damn fast and plenty of big tables to choose from. Heard that during weekends or holidays, the place will be so packed to the brim. Stefie was telling us that one of her friends kana robbed at the very place at night. So, its safer to dine there when its still bright hee.

Lala with chilli.

My favourite crayfish. Because its buttered, it makes the exterior of the meat damn fragrant and crispy. Stefie tabao 2 huge ones home for her parents, which bro, wr and I secretly hoped that the custom doesnt allow her to bring over to SG, so we can eat it up! Hahah but too bad she was allowed to bring back. You know, some custom officers can be damn nasty about what you bring home.

Cereal Prawn. I loveee the cereal to bits though its like damn unhealthy haha.

The heavenly bak kut teh which, let me emphasize again, is refillable. How nice is that! But the 6 of us were so full that no one really thought of a second pot.

The rest of the dishes were wiped out by the others by the time i finishing taking the 1st few photos haha.

Oh and i forgot to mention we had secret recipe cakes for lunch at the mall when we just came. Its half priced too!! So happy muahha.

So all in a day, we spent at least 1.5K Rm. Though its only RM, but its still alot! Cuz bro and i bought basic necessities like contact lenses, solutions etc. They sell it much cheaper there in malaysia, like $20+ cheaper.

What a happy, satisfied day. And i'm still craving for crayfish.
