Yesterday was papa's 49th birthday! Because my bro suddenly feels rich and generous, he decided to treat all of us including his gf and wr to international buffet at marina mandarin. Damn expensive ok! 50+ per head after all the ++.
So being the typical Singaporean, i had only a light brunch and starved myself all the way to the dinner heh heh.
The place is called Aquamarine and it is so cosy and relaxing. The food, which goes without saying, is damn fresh, succulent and well, simply yummy. The few of us keep stuffing our plates with mountains and mountains of seafood. The oysters are huge, fresh and juicy!! They goes very well with lemons, and i had like 4 at one go. My mom was kinda spooked by us devouring the oysters because she doesnt eat this kinda stuff. Pity.
I didnt bother to take any pictures before eating, only managed to snap some after i'm damn full. Here are the desserts that looked so inviting but yet i dont have the stomach to try anymore. The buffet offers SO MANY desserts, omg. I love taking their pictures, but i'm not exactly a desserts type of girl. I go for maincourse hahahahaha.

The above are the stuff that i didnt get to try. ARGH!!

My funny dad saw me walking around snapping pictures of the food, so he lend me a hand and placed dirty santa and his christmas tree in place. Say cheese, santa!
When we were on our way home, bro ask us what's our favourite food there. My dad loves the oysters and the prawns, likewise for my bro. My mum loves the mua chi, and wr loves the nasi bryni. What a waste of stomach space, consuming RICE. But i have to admit the bryni is really nice. As for me, i love everything so i have no favourites! =)

I swear we took at least 6 big plates of these!!

One of my favourite food, chawanmushi!! It's so cute and small, just the size of your palm. I happily had 3 cups of it hehe.

Cosy christmasy environment.

Taken at the hotel lobby. I love christmas, cuz i love the warmth decorations and the idea of presents.

Happy birthday papa! Hopefully i will be able to treat my family to atas food next year too! See, the pros of having earning power.
