A whirlwind of events occurred ever since the start of July. July always promise to be a better month, especially this year! Because HARRY POTTER CRAZE IS IN THE AIR. One must a hermit to not have feel it by now.


Anyway, my purpose in blogging today is to commemorate the luckiest day in my life! That is to say i was actually chosen to watch the GALA PREMIERE OF HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The story goes like this: One not so fine day in Azkaban(Sembawang), I tuned in to Class 95 Fm Radio Station and there, they were saying about some Harry potter contest. Yes and being in Azkaban with absolutely nothing to do, i took part in the contest and TADA!! I GOT SELECTED!! Sorry for the Caps but even after 40 hours, my excitement has yet to die off.


And so Class 95 Fm texted me on Wednesday, 10/7/2007 (i need to commemorate this day so i need the date heh!) in the noon and informed me that i have won a pair of tickets to the gala premiere and that it will screen that very night. My heart nearly leaped out okay. Guessed what's my 1st reaction? I called SY and ask her what is Gala premiere. Haha yea dumb i know and after the realisation sinks in, i was frantically trying to reach Chelle, whose phone had just die off.


I was to reach lido by 8pm to collect the tickets but luckily the person was still kind enough to hand out the tickets when i reached at 810pm. Mind you i ran all the way from the MRT station to Lido ok, like some mad woman. The entire Lido was booked that night for the screen of Harry potter and some local celebrities were there as well. I was cranking my neck all the time to catch a glimpse of them and chelle was beside me rolling her eyes, saying that she dont really care about local celebrities.



The movie is simply FANTABULOUS!!! I feel like this movie is much much better than the previous 2!! The producers did a pretty good job in covering the main plots in just 2 hrs+. But the credit still goes to the crew, Daniel Radcliffe in particular. His acting skills has improved leaps and bounds that i seriously can't wait for the next two movie. Emma watson has morphed into a really pretty teenager and Rupert Grint is still as comical. In general, i don't think this movie is very dark. There were quite a number of amusing scenes. The only frightening ones are the dementors and full stop. Oh man, i'm so gotta watch it 2nd time.



On the other hand, its NINE more days to the final book of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I can't wait!
