My 3 other new found friends. The day wouldn't have been so fun without them!! =)Tourguiding was FREAKING FUN on friday!! Was all panicky on thursday night but it turns out to be superb! I made 3 friends who were 1st timers like myself and all 4 of us sticked together. Oh i forgot to mention that i was a tourguide for a group of 17 years old JAPANESE students, who were here on a Asian tour. How cool is that!! And needless to say i'm being paid. 13 buckeroos per hour. It's damn good money okay. All thanks to my bro's friend who pulled me into this job. Through out the whole journey i have been racking my brain as to how to communicate with the japanese. Yes although i'm taking up jap lesson now but im still elementary ONE you know. So constructing a simple sentence is waay off my limits, since i'm not an attentive student to start with. However, all of us agreed that actually the fun part about this job is also mainly because we were ridiculously trying to express our thoughts and learning new jap phrases on the spot. That's the kick, i feel. And since i'm the only one who take jap lesson(which i'm damn proud of myself), half of the time they were able to understand me. Well, as the other half, i must have talking rubbish cuz they just flashed me blank looks when im gibbering broken jap sentences. ANyhow, the students were being very sweet. They made a "picture book" with everything regarding Japan-Kyoto. It was made before hand of cuz. And they bought me this fish cake thing too! So sweet of them =)

I think this shot is hilarious. I dont know why both of us have the exact sad-pouting expression. HAHAHHAHA!I have something to confess! On chelle's 19th birthday, i made her wait for an hour!! hehe sorry. I set alarm to remind myself to wear mascara before leaving the house. My eyes were all smeared with mascara after trying to put them on and it was so messy that i have to clean them off. This explains why i'm 30 mins late. As for the next 30 mins, erm well, you know... =D
Anyway we went to suntec walk around for few hours before SY joined us for dinner @ LerkThai restaurant!! (I thought it was JERKthai) The food was so yummy!! The pineapple rice was only 2 bucks! Originally 8.50 bucks! In the end our dinner was like 10+ only? We had 3 main course 1 beverage 1 desert and 1 sidedish. Cheap right? hahaha YueRu i'm sure ure salivating now! heh no pics of food this time round cuz we were so hungry that we went ahead without bothering to take pics of the food.
It certainly feels good to have her back again! Now i can't wait for NTU exams to be over!
