F1 fever hits town once again!!
And this time, it hits my whole family except me. Bro's GF who's working at ING managed to get themselves free grandstand tix for sat's qualifying round, as well as tix for my parents for the walkabout at a heavily discounted price. I was too cheapo to purchase the tix for WR and I so we didnt make it.
It doesnt take a genius to know that buying the tix for mom is quite a waste of money, because she doesnt know what F1 is about, and she hates noise. True enough, when she was back at midnight last night, the first thing that came out of the mouth was " Wah the chicken rice so expensive!! Cost us $8..!! And its not even nice!! Everything there is so expensive!" hahhaha typical mum. But im sure its one helluva experience and eye opener for her and dad.
We certainly bought our new TV at a good timing, because we're able to watch the final race today! And though i didnt get to watch it live down there at the race course, i'm feeling equally great because i've gotten myself a new F1 lanyard! So cool can! I can now throw away the ugly one my company gave us and wear the cooool F1 lanyard around my neck yiipppeee!
i cut my bangs!! Courage only bring me thus far. I walked into the saloon with the intention of cutting a bob but chickened out in the end =p
"koped" this pic from csy because no one uploads pictures to facebook anymore boo :(
Anws, the banana girls (hehe) got me my belated birthday presents! My 1st Jodi Picoult's novel and kinokuniya's book vouchers! Thankew!
I really really like books as birthday presents, even more than apparels or bags, though i've never mentioned this to anyone before haha. Because i get to enjoy the book, and also able to keep it for a long long time, which i think is meaningful. The downside of it is that books are very subjective presents. It takes someone who's close to me to know what genre of books i like reading.
Just finished reading this, and its quite nice! It talks a lil about imaginary friend, which seems very familiar to me, like i've read some where about imaginary friend before. I racked my brain to recall that book but just couldnt remember, which sets me feeling very frustrated and uneasy. You know that kind of feeling?? Thankfully i vaguely remember discussing the imaginary friend book with yueru and good thing she knows what i'm talking about!! What a load off my mind!
TADA!
Tmr's Monday again..and the horrible cramps makes me feel like shit
