The little boy is recovering well, so much so that he keeps attempting to jump, when his hind leg is still bandage. I took half day leave today just to bring him to the vet for review, and vet says his progress is good. However, he will not be able to run anymore, unlike last time. This is to prevent the nylon inside his leg from wearing off, which is possible if we don't take care. So a walk or a very light jog is good enough for him :)

Took this shot on the evening where he had his operation. He was still under anesthetic then, so he was in deep slumber. But i dont know why he has to stick out his tongue like that, haha so cute.

Home sweet home for oreo!

Loads of people want to get a dog as a pet just because they find them cute, or they need a companion. What they do not know is the amount of time and effort one has to sacrifice in order to ensure the dog a good health. A lot of time is needed especially when they fall sick. No matter how good the breed is, dogs are bound to fall ill, just like normal human beings. And when the time comes, how many people are willing to push everything away just to care for it and nurse it back to health?? This includes sacrificing your work hours, your family and friend's time. And most importantly, forking out exorbitant cost.

So if anyone is not capable to fulfilling the above requirement, please discourage them in bringing dogs home. I always get damn mad when i hear stories of how people dump their dogs away after few years, and most of them are jack russels.

My favourite commandment out of the 10 commandments of pet ownership:

You have your school, your work, your friends and your entertainment. But to the dog, he has only you.
