Happy Valentine's day! No roses nor bouquet nor candies from the boyfriend this year. So i can only look enviously at couples carrying beautiful bouquets on the street. And that must have cost their boyfriends a huge bomb.
Wanted to get flowers for chellie, since she's leaving for aussieland this week. Sy and I shopped around JP, and the cheapest 1 rose bouquet cost at least $38 bucks!!! Crazy. I shudder to think how much will a bouquet of 99 roses cost. ( I saw one guy hugging the 99 roses bouquet on my way home on fri) Hence, as much as i love the feeling of being pampered by boyfriend, i think unless he has plenty of money to spend, i wouldnt want him to splurge on roses. A simple dinner is good enough :)
I have absolutely no idea what the number of roses and the colour symbolises. Wr gave me a bouquet of yellow roses on my 21st birthday and i got a BIG SHOCK when my team mates told me that yellow roses symbolises BREAKUP!?!??! Eh but seriously, why on earth would anyone want to give us flowers when they want to breakup with you?? haha quite dumb. Yellow is my favourite colour so yellow roses are nice! But i think next time i'll force him to give me red roses or champagne pink roses. :)
on totally different note, GST offset package is here again!!! Wooots!
